Background:
Under the develoPPP.de Programme established by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), a cooperation agreement between GIZ and Transerve Technologies has been signed to implement “Smart Urban Sanitation”.
GIZ and Transerve have partnered to implement a Smart FSM solution in 2 urban local bodies (ULBs) of Telangana. It is being proposed that a web and mobile-based workflow/system be implemented to streamline the desludging operations for FSSM (Fecal Sludge and Septage Management
Objectives:
Fecal Sludge Management processes follow a broadly similar pattern across the country. Though Transerve’s geospatial platform TOS (Transerve Online Stack) and FSM product have been created for a generic use case applicable to Indian cities, it is crucial that ULB and state-centric customizations be carried out at the software level to achieve usability and easy adoption. The responsibility of the Contractor, is customization and development of IT solutions on the Transerve Online Stack platform in close coordination with Transerve and GIZ suiting to specific requirements in the two selected urban local bodies in Telangana state.
Tasks of the assignment:
An agency is required to customize Transerve's geospatial tool TOS (Transerve Online Stack) as well as Transerve’s FSM product and create a contextualized Smart FSM platform for the use of the ULBs. The project shall cover the implementation of the following in 2 ULB’s of Telangana-
The contractor is responsible for providing the following services (but not limited to):
1. Customization of the TOS & FSM platform
2. Localization/Vernacular Content on the Platform
3. Development of Analytical Capabilities on the Platform
